My iPhone 7 was working perfectly fine until i updated to iOS 11.4 and ever since i did that my battery is draining rapidly even without me using it at all . I used to go a full day without charging it now it may last half a day. I am just wondering if something got turned on with this new update that I have to turn off to save battery life .i have not done anything more than update the iOS . What will do for battery draining?

The entire IOS 11 series will go down in the record books as a complete disaster.
Well after downgrade to 11.4. everything work fine! After hours of use (internet, movie, photo) still 70% battery.

Same here. I have a 7 updated to 11.4.1 and within 20 minutes of unplugging from charger this morning I was down to 42% plus the phone got super hot!
How to downgrade to 11.4??? i would like to do the same. This battery drain is so terrible that i can't even use my phone in half a day.
Not sure what else to add, for some updating to 11.4.1 has fixed, for others it appears putting device into Low Power Mode helps as does switching to 2.4Ghz WiFi instead of using 5Ghz. If you have an unlimited data plan you could try just using cellular and turning WiFi off all together, but these are just work arounds and you really require Apple to resolve in a future update.
I still don't understand why a Restore as New doesn't work, and even more puzzled by Clixpic's resolution which I take it you did try.
All I can add is follow these discussions and hope someone hits on a fix,
Same here on iPhone7 > on 11.4 i had no problems..Now with 11.4.1 in the morning 100% now, after 3h only 38%.
Without any use of WIFI or BT...
