Greyed out CD tracks

I recently updated my iMac software and since then have been having problems opening tracks from my own CDs. Everything else is working 100% (videos, podcasts etc) but all art work is missing from the CDs.

When I try to open a track a ! appears beside the name indicating the original info for the tracks can't be located.

This is the same for all my CDs. I have tried all the usual remedies — transferred from backup etc — but absolutely no joy.

I have had various suggestions but no luck. Where to from here?

OBS, iMac (21.5-inch Mid 2010), macOS High Sierra (10.13.5), Intel i3 8GB memory

All the CD tracks on iTunes I have input myself from my own CDs. None have been imported from the iTunes store.

This below is how my screen looks when I go to open a track. Greyed out and not able to locate original data.

This is the view of my some of my videos which work 100%.

Any ideas or should I go to apple direct?

Many thanks

Somehow the link to the original file has been broken or the original file has been moved from its location. Do a Spotlight search for some of the files and see if you can find where they are located on your hard drive(s).

If Spotlight comes up blank download and run Find Any File to search for the files.

FAF can search areas that Spotlight can't like invisible folders, system folders and packages.
