when i was using android, even though i dont have any data but have a data signal, my facebook messenger works. But when i switched to iphone, suddenly i cant use my messenger without buying data.
Ask your cellular carrier.
Here in the philippines we have free data for messenger and facebook. We dont need to buy data to use messenger. We just need data signal to use it. Thats why i dont know why cant use facebook messenger in my iphone
It requires data, either cellular or wifi. Why do you believe you should get "free data"? That's between you and your cellular carrier.
