Apple pay error "card reader error"

I have been unable to use apply pay for some time now, whenever I use it at any retailer it says "card reader error" or doesn't scan at all. I have an iphone 6, how can I fix this? Thanks.

iPhone 11 apply pay reading cancelled on card reader I purchased and iPhone 11 last week. Merged my iPhone8 to the iPhone11. With no issue. I then linked my credit card to Apple Pay. Transactions have been going through on line in iTunes/App Store... However, when using Apple Pay in store, the card reader will recognize the phone but immediately will read “cancelled” on the card reader. I’ve tried multiple readers and the same result. Anyone having the same issue?

Apple Pay error message could not add the card Hello I have a problem in apple pay show me an error message could not add the card tried again tried on my brother's mobile iPhone and was added and works well only my phone which does not work I called the bank and they told me that the card works well also I called apple support and they told me to work restoror from the computer I did but unfortunately the same problem also erased the contents of the device and also the same error I wish to solve the problem [Re-Titled by Moderator]
