epson artisan 730

I upgraded to MacOS 10.13.5. My Macbook pro stopped recognizing my Epson Artisan 730 wireless printer. I tried to reinstall the printer drive with the original disk but the software is outdated. I then downloaded the updated software from the Epson website, but my mac rejects it and I get a message that I can only install from the APP store. When I try to add the printer in system preferences, no printer is available. I would appreciate any help you might offer.
