Final Cut Pro Won't Render Just One Video Clip

I have a strong feeling that this is all just bug-related since I just recently upgraded my mac iOS & final cut version to the latest... but just in case it isn't: Only one video clip in my Final Cut Pro project won't render & will black out halfway through the clip.

Notes:

-Video clip DID show before

-Didn't have issues with the rendering until my HD accidentally came unplugged (F these USB C ports... old USBs never came out this easily!)

-Reconnected HD & restarted final cut

-Video seemed fine until the one clip that blacks out halfway through the clip & has those dotted render lines above it (Picture 1) User uploaded file

-Then final cut started doing continuous and annoying backup rendering, basically never stopping for more than an hour

-Tried to have FCP render JUST the clip I needed, but no dice

Troubleshooting tried:

-Cutting the clip from before it goes black & extending

-Opening up crop for the clip, seeing the entire video play out in croppable mode, but as soon as I hit done with crop, it goes black again (Pictures 2 & 3)

User uploaded file

-Copy & pasted clip in a different location

-restarted my computer

Please help. I need to be able to export this video for work!

Thank you!!!

MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017, 4 TBT3), macOS High Sierra (10.13.6), FCP X Version is 10.4.3
