Apple TV 3 Airplay 2 Sonos One
Should I be able to watch Apple TV & use the sonos one for sound? Sonos just released airplay 2 compatibility, but I can’t get Apple TV to work with it.

I’m sorry, you’re right on the Wi-Fi. The Apple TV (3rd generation) doesn’t have tvOS 11.4, though, and thus no AirPlay 2 functionality.
“What Apple devices do I need for AirPlay 2 on Sonos?
You will need to be running iOS 11.4 or higher on at least one of the following: iPhone 5s or newer model, iPad Mini 2 or newer model, or Apple TV (4th gen and 4K) or newer model.”
Audio Out on the Apple TV (3rd generation) will be HDMI, or optical. So the compatible Sonos products are: Beam (HDMI), Playbar (optical), and Playbase (optical). Beam and Playbase also feature AirPlay.
