I’m having trouble updating my apps

I’m trying to update apps on my phone and it won’t let me that I need to update my billing information before updating the apps and I have entered my card information and its saying that my payment method was declined but everything is correct. I’m only trying to update not purchase

Apple ID payment information - If your payment method is declined, or you have a billing issue with a previous purchase in the iTunes Store
