Force ejecting a DVD from Macbook

Hi guys!,

I am trying to eject a DVD from a Macbook A1342 that starts up with OS X Utility only. The Command E and eject buttons don't work. I've tried holding down mouse at the time of startup, Computer doesn't even see the DVD if I try starting up with it (guessing I didn't make a bootable disc like I was trying - it's why i'm trying to eject it to put in proper one) . I tried the /usr/bin/drutil eject in both single mode and terminal and get "no such file or directory". Any other ideas / suggestions I can try?
