HOW to turn off Monthly Sort when saving

For some reason, all of a sudden, when I save to a folder, it shows all of my sub-folders sorted by the month they were created. Why would this be useful to anyone? How do I set it to just show all folders alphabetically, like it has done for the past 20 years?

Finder sort all files and folders alpabetically? My finder is sorting folders first alphabetically then files alphabetically. My Finder use to sort folders and files alphabetically without grouping folders first and then files. To change it back to alphabetical, you need to click on the "Arrangement" icon and select the "Name" option.
