Verifying billing info?

Recently, I tried getting Houseparty to chat with friends, which is a free app, but it asked me to verify my billing info. I did, but it said the payment method was declined and wouldn’t allow me to download the app. I tried another free app and the same thing occured.

Try a different card, of as they are free apps see if you get the 'none' option so that you can remove it : Change or remove your Apple ID payment information in the iTunes Store - Apple Support


Declined card : If your payment method is declined, or you have a billing issue in the App Store or iTunes Store - Apple Support
