Apple ID sign in error

I am certain my Apple ID is correct, but it will not sign in through my settings because it is for Australian purchases - it then suggests it will redirect me to the correct store but fails to do so

Have you recently switched stores? Do you have a credit card issued by a bank in Australia? A billing address there? Do you have a positive account balance?
