Will replacing logic board/ssd remove icloud/efi lock on macbook pro 2016?

I recently bought a late 2016 MacBook pro off craigslist with an iCloud/efi lock on it for $50. I'm hoping to make a profit off of it, and I'm wondering if replacing one of two things will do the trick:

1: Replacing the SSD with a brand new one

2: Replacing the logic board with one from eBay.

If either of these will work, please let me know because I really would like to make a profit off of it. If neither of these will work, does anyone know of anything I could do to fix it? By the way, it is locked with a 7-digit pin, not a 4-digit one.

1. No such thing as iCloud / Activation lock on a MacBook Pro. Restoring a Mac to factory removes any associated iCloud account. So no way to actually lock it with iCloud.

2. If By EFI you mean a Firmware password, it can only be removed by Apple themselves.

I'd cut my losses rather than risk the possibility that the previous owner might have reported the theft to the police or used Find my Mac and it is found in your possession.
