Final Cut Pro X storage question
If I delete an event from FCP X, does that also delete its render files? I want to make sure I'm not using unnecessary storage space.

If you delete an Event everything goes with it when using Managed Media.
Maybe a better method to save space, is to use the FCP X>File menu to do this for you:
You will notice in the highlighted red boxes that different render file items can be deleted.
At the Library level, Project or Event.
You select what is deleted by clicking in the Browser, eg. select the Library icon and the Delete Generated library option appears in the File, Click an Event and the Event option is active.
Much safer than trashing a whole Event.
BTW: Generated files can always be re-generated at a later time if required.
Mostly you can turn the Render option off in the main Preference Window and prevent render files from accruing.
