Hey, i try to connect my AirPort Extreme to join a existing network. On airport utility, i can only create network or extend network.
i have call apple support but bla bla bla .....
someone have try to solve the problem ?

The AirPort Extreme cannot "join" an existing WiFi network provided by a third party router. If you purchased the product for this purpose, you should return the AirPort for a refund.

AirPort Extreme cannot "join" an existing WiFi network.....but an AirPort Express can do this.
But, if an AirPort Extreme could do this......(it cannot).......what kind of benefit would you hope to gain by doing this?
i use AirPort Extreme to acces on my external hard drive by wifi .... i don’t want to swith a network when i want to access on my hard drive
when we configure the airport for the firts time, the option « join to existing network » exist but when we select it, it said an error !
