DVD or CD Sharing Update 1.0 for Windows doesn't work anymore!

it was worked on my old windows, but now, on latest windows 10, it doesn't work.

the last version of this file is 1.0! and belong to 10 years ago!

when i want to install it on windows, it came out:

Please help, i really need to use a DVD drive for my macbook air.

Help- My Cross Platform file sharing was killed by a Windows 10 update. I recently upgraded my Windows PC to Win10Pro version 20H2. Now I can no longer connect to my older mid-2010 MacMini for file sharing. This is a veritable catastrophe; I depend on home network cross platform file sharing. Why did this happen? Because Windows v20H2 no longer supports SMBv1, the only version of SMB that my MacOS (Snow Leopard System 10.6.8) supports. And there's no hope that Apple will provide a system patch for Snow Leopard. Is there any way to restore cross-platform file sharing?

How to register the licence of an iLife '08 DVD in order to be able to update iWeb 2.0.3 to iWeb 3.0.4? I purchased a retail license for iLife '08 and now I have installed iWeb 2.0.3. I am unable to upgrade it to iWeb 3.0.4 because an error message comes up that says: "iWeb Update can't be installed on this disk. A qualifying copy of iWeb was not found in /Applications." How can I do to REGISTER on Apple's site the copy (license) of the DVD I purchased and successfully upgrade to version 3.0.4? The operating system is "El Capitan" 10.11.6 The installed copy of iWeb 2.0.3 works just fine.

Yes! it's worked, thank you so much.

But even the file installed successfully on windows pc, i couldn't use it in my macbook; I did connected to same network, all share folders including the DVD drive are appear and all shared folders worked well, except DVD drive! Some error shown, something about invalid IP and call admin and so on....! 😟

Try right-clicking on the installer and using Run as administrator.
