Pandora subscription

I want to cancel my Pandora subscription. I clicked on cancel and it started asking for all my personal information including my ”SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER”. I reluctantly put it in then it asked me for more personal information. I didn’t even have to give this kind of information when I financ my house? How can I cancel my Pandora subscription without giving up my most private information especially my Social Security Number. I don’t think this is any of Pandora‘s or Apple‘s business.
