iPhone 6s Water Damage Support

Hi. My iPhone 6s has just been dropped in water. We have turned it off, dried it, taken out the SIM card, tapped out as much water as we can, now what can I do to give it it’s best chance of surviving and being repaired if need be? We are on holidays so I can’t get it fixed straight away. Any tips would be appreciate. I’m thinking of putting it in rice, leaving it to air dry in a warm (but not too hot location) and not touching it for a day or so. Thanks for any tips.
