I can no longer acquire Apple music on my Macbook Pro unless I download on my iPhone first. I also don't have access to the "For You" or "Browse"options. Does Apple Music no longer work with Yosemite OS X 10.10.5?

Something similar happened some months back, iTunes and Apple Music not working on older computers. Apple finally fixed it. Hopefully with all of the discussions, Apple is already working on a fix. Since it was working and then suddenly stopped working (without any iTunes or Mac OS updates) it seems to be something on the server side of things.

That is a good suggestion because my Macbook would be compatible with El Capitain, however you can only acquire it through the app store and the app store can't be accessed on my Macbook (too old). The sad thing is that apple makes really good products and if you treat them well they can last a long time, but the compatibility issues make them obsolete before their time.

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately MacBook Pro is from 2009 and can’t be upgraded. Works great otherwise.
