Yes, Siri still uses Bing.

I’m on an iPhone X. Safari settings indicate Google is the default search engine. But Siri still pulls results from BING. Can’t seem to fix it. Why?

Siri relies on its own settings for queries/searching which are maintained directly by Apple. Safari search, on other hand, are customizable by the user.


Last year Apple switched to Google for Siri search services. Evidently it's still using Bing for some tasks. As said, it's Apple that decide how to manage Siri searches.
