Messed up the key (transposing?) in my song in Garageband

I somehow messed up my Garageband track by changing the key and I can't get it back to the way it should sound.

I'm using one of the most recent Garagebands with Sierra I think. I recorded a bassline and some keyboard and vocals and started adding other stuff. Then I changed the key and was going to try and figure out if I could use a vocal pitch bender, but then everything just seemed messed up key wise and I can get it back.

Hello eastsidebuffet,

After reviewing your post, it sounds like you changed the key of a project in GarageBand, and now it sounds messed up. Projects start in C major, you can change the key again back to what it is supposed to be by using the steps in this article.

By default, new projects are in the key of C major. You can choose a new key when you create a project, and change it later while you’re working. When you add Apple Loops to your project, they match the project key.

Set the project key and scale in the LCD

In the LCD, click the key, then choose a key from the pop-up menu.
