iPhone mail signature appears at the bottom of email thread

When replying to emails (via my iPhone), my mail app sets my signature at the very bottom of the thread, instead of placing it below my newly type text! This only happens with certain emails, don't know why... doesn't seem to be linked to HTML or plain text formats because all the replies are HTML and it still does the same. i have also unchecked the "Organise by Thread option" in mail settings, but to no avail!

What I end up doing is to scroll down to the very end of the email and cut the signature text. I then paste it in the position at the top, where it should be, and send the email. This seems ridiculous though, and should surely not be the only answer??

Sincerely,

New iPhone User

Greetings

Thank you for the quick reply. It unfortunately does not help me with this issue.

It’s very annoying that there is no solution other than cut and paste the signature. I would use another mail app, but my phone is locked by my company, and so I’m stuck using the stock mailing app.

I’m a little surprised that Apple doesn’t have a fix for this, since their competitors don’t seem to have this issue. I thought it was me being stupid, since I’m a humble Mechanical Engineer - new to the world of Apple products - I thought it was new user trouble...

My 2nd problem is that my text doesn’t crop in some of my reply emails. So it just scrolls to the right as I type new text...

Hopefully there’s a nice new bug fix update in the works to fix these two issues!? I’ve just updated to version 11.4.1, but it seems to have only fixed other, unrelated bugs.
