Disable Control + Left Click = Right Click

What I'm trying to say is how to disable when you hold the control key, it preforms a right click when you left click. Not how tapping with two fingers on the trackpad will do a right click. (Yes, tapping with two fingers will preform a right click. But, if you tap one finger on the trackpad while holding the control key, you'll do a right click when you wanted to do a left click.)

The reason why I need to hold the control key is so that it highlights the item(s) in the application I am using (letting go of the control key would unhighlight it). Then, you would rather have to right click to move it, or left click to zoom in and see the information of it. But, if you hold control and left click, it right clicks when I wanted to preform the action that was a left click. Which is why I want to know if there is an application of some sort to disable how holding control and left clicking will emulate a left click.
