Series 1 Apple Watch Screen popped out

Definitely having the same issues everyone is having with the screen popping off. I’ve always taken very good care of my watch. After chatting with Apple support they did say I can mail it in so it can be reviewed by a technician only problem is they place a $199 hold on your account plus 6.95$ shipping and handling fee, the hold is placed until they determine if it can be fixed then you can authorize them to charge your card or not and they will remove hold. The Apple Watch cost so much nearly took me 2 years to pay off in monthly payments and i feel As a loyal Apple customer I shouldn’t be charged these fees. It’s ridiculous honestly.

Hi, what size watch do you have? You could try ordering an iFixit adhesive strip to keep the screen in place rather then having to send it in to apple witch will end up costing a bit of money (strip is around $17)

It’s the Apple series 1 ,42mm. Would the adhesive work even though the battery expanded which caused the screen to pop? Which kind would you recommend?
