Safari Version 11.1.2 (13605.3.8) breaks Facebook

Hi - did a software update my MBP yesterday to High Sierra 10.13.6 (17G65), Safari Version 11.1.2 (13605.3.8). As a result, the "infinite scroll" on Facebook has stopped working.

Even though 20+ updates in my Pages Feed are indicated, only one is displayed, then I hit the buffers - the "More Stories" button simply doesn't work. It's the same on all the feeds in Facebook.

The infinite scroll in LinkedIn is unaffected.

I've cleared cache and cookies.

My other MBP, which is on the previous version of HS and Safari doesn't have this problem.

What to do?

Hi - thanks - it turned out to be Adblocker - turned it of and facebook started working properly.

Now I need an adblocker blocker blocker!

Any ideas? 😀

Do you have the Dashlane extension installed?

Try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. Please post back on whether or not this worked. Also try the Safe Mode. Please post back on whether or not this worked.

Historiacally, browser extension developers are the group most like to be "behind the curve" in keeping up with Safari updates. Anytime Safari acts out after a update, suspect lazy extension deveopers.

There is some evidence developing that multiple ad blockers work at cross-purpose and slow Safari. Find ONE you like and don't add any more.
