To my knowledge the device ID is hard coded into the motherboard of the device, and I am not aware of any method to modify that. Are you referring to the IMEI? What makes you believe that it is corrupt?
If you mean the IMEI, to the best of my knowledge, it's only used by the carrier. In 20 years of working for a cellular carrier, I never heard of one being "corrupt".
I've also never heard of MAC IDs (used in conjunction with connecting to a network) being "corrupt".
Who brought this to your attention and how?
The reason is that Tapjoy cannot access your device ID, because Apple has banned them. They are an unsavory enterprise out to steal your personal information. The ID that they are trying to access and failing is neither the IMEI nor the MAC address; it is a code used by apps to bill in-app purchases.
I already added it. I'll repeat it here:
The issue is that Tapjoy cannot retrieve the UDID (User Device ID) from your phone, and that is why your UDID is not showing up in their system.
And I'll add: If your UDID was corrupt none of your apps would work. So there's nothing wrong with your phone.
You are NOT having issues with the device ID. TapJoy has been banned. They can't get your device ID because Apple has prevented them from doing so for violating their terms.

Apple can't tell me who to deal with and who not to deal with when it comes to my property. Is there anything else to add regarding the original issue posted up top?
Apple has banned Tapjoy. They can do that. They have done that. You can't stop them from banning anyone they want to. Apple has banned thousands, perhaps tens of thousands of apps because they violate Apple's rules regarding what information about the user they are allowed to retrieve from your phone. Apps in the app store are required to follow Apple's rules. The fact that Tapjoy has not bothered to make their apps compatible with iOS 11 confirms that they accept this.

Where are you seeing a message about your device ID? What were you trying to do on the iPhone?
Appreciate your interest and thanks for your reply. Now for the main reason we are here, your question for me. There is no error message on my phone. The device ID is important to the phone for reasons that are for verification and identification, communication over servers and uniqueness in the cyber scape. It has been brought to my attention, and it may very well be a mistake, the ID is corrupt and the footprint of the phone is not registering the correct information with servers that collect this data. I want to gather suggestions on how to determine if this is true, as well as fix the ID.
I appreciate any assistance you may provide in this problem of mine, and I will try my best to provide adequate answers to any question you may need me to answer. It was brought to my attention by a company that is a independent contractor within an application I use. The name of the company is Tapjoy. The application is Tap Sports Baseball: 2018. Anyways, the way it works is the app user is trying to accumulate game currency and TapJoy provides offers, which once completed the user is compensated with in-game currency by TapJoy. TapJoy is saying that offers I completed are ineligible because my device ID is not showing in their system. They're not the most reputable company, but I think I have to find out if there's a problem with my device. It could be a problem with their equipment, unbeknownst to TapJoy.

This TapJoy?

I can't find the app you're referring to in the App Store.
Okay, failing to meet their obligation and the reasons given on their part, this explanation makes sense. Where can I apprehend the official details stating Apple has banned TapJoy for being unsavory?
You can start with the link I provided. But, I doubt you'll be able to get any official statement from Apple. That would have been an issue between Apple and TapJoy, not something released to the public.
TapJoy and I are not dealing with each other for first time. It's just that now I'm having issues with this device ID and that's the reason for withholding compensation. This is according to TapJoy, but they have paid me conversation before now.
Other than some advertising demo app for ad-Ware based developers, not one of Tapjoy Inc.’s apps in the USA App Store have been undated for iOS 11 - they all appear to have been abandoned.
If you’re having issues with a TapJoy product, then you’d need to deal with TapJoy Inc. about that. Their web site is easily found with a simple web search.
Seems a bit monochromatic of Apple to decide who I can and can not deal with, but it's for my protection. Still, I am planning to pursue any avenue which may inform me completely of what the matter could be. Is there anything else you can add, something I may like to know for the purpose of being informed?
