Continuous reset and unable to restore/update iphone 7

My iphone 7 has been continuously restarting and when I tried force reset, it would just turn the phone completely off and switching it back on would start the restart cycle again. I plugged it into my computer to try and update/restore it (i've already backed up everything) and it never works and comes up with the error code 4013. It's ok to lose all data on phone i just want the phone working again!!

Hi Kyra166,

Did this happen to your phone on the 31st of July 2018? My phone is currently doing the same thing and it also happened on the afternoon of the 31st. I have tried to update and restore it, so has a local smartphone specialist with no luck. I brought this phone outright and have had it around 18 months so it is not within warranty. So strange that the same thing has happened to both our phones around the same timeframe.

I'd ideally like to avoid restoring my phone as I have a lot of videos and photos of our daughter that I haven't backed up over the last few months. I'll be devastated to lose them!

Let me know if you have any luck!
