Apple Schoolwork app does not work properly

I’ve been testing the new Apple Schoolwork app, but I can’t get it to work properly. I as a teacher can create and publish handouts that pupils can see, but students' progress and hand-ins does not show up on my (teacher’s) device. Anyone had any sucess? Tips on how to troubleshoot?

Hi everyone,

I'm having the same issue here. I've been testing Schoolwork for a couple of days now, and I can get it to work properly. I'm able to publish Handouts, my students see them (sometimes there's one student who's not able to open them, but 19 out of 20 students can open the handout). They complete everything and hand in, but I can't see any of the completed handouts. Not one.

Only when I go into a Class Group and click on each student separately, I can see the completed work.

Really hope there's a fix by next week, when iOS 12 comes out!

Hi all,

It seems like the issue I reported about not seeing student progress and hand-ins has been resolved by yesterday’s app update to version 1.0.2 (Apple’s description of update is “Minor stability improvements” ...). Pretty major for us :-)

Unfortunately I’m away from office and with no access to students or student iPads and I’m not able to do serious testing, but on my teacher iPad I can now see progress on the pervious test cases where I could not see progress before the app-update.

Feel free to comment if you all have similar experiences after app update.

Cheers
