iphone 6s just updated to iOS 11.4.1 and noticed it doesn’t ring for an incoming call. Checked the setting under Sounds and haptics making sure sounds are set. Looks ok but still no sound, vibration only. Phone would ring prior to update 😟
Have you checked the mute switch along the edge, near the external volume controls? Orange/red showing = muted.

Glad you got it sorted out. Sometimes movement of cases can cause that switch to move. It can be very sensitive, and many cases can interfere with its operation.

Settings Phone. Announce Calls was off (weird) so I turned it back on, but still no sound or announcement with an incoming call :( :(
Still not fixed
Announce calls is not about the ring, it is about Siri announcing the name of the caller if they appear in your Contacts.
Is Do Not Disturb turned on? Check Control Center (DND is the "moon" icon).
Scratch that, you're getting vibration.
Yes, I forgot 😝 the button that was hidden under my phone protector. No idea 😕 how it was switched, one of my kids must have been playing 👿 with it.
