Boot Camp not supporting APFS

After purchasing the brand-new 2018 i9 MacBook Pro, I've realized that it only allows for High Sierra to be installed on an APFS-formatted drive. However, Boot Camp tells me this:

This is incredibly unfortunate, as I was hoping to install Windows 10 and Kali Linux later on down the road. Mojave does the same thing. I believe Apple just needs to update Boot Camp to support APFS, no? I haven't figured out a way to downgrade my Mac to whatever last OS allowed Mac OS Extended instead of APFS. That's a bit disappointing...


Has anyone run into this problem and figured out a solution to it?
