Mac OS Detecting Wrong Display Size Of External Monitor

I have plugged in my BenQ External Monitor 27 inch into my iMac pro and my MacBook Pro, on both of them it seems to think I am using a 61 inch BenQ monitor. How would I fix this so that my Mac OS understands I am plugging in a 27 inch monitor, not a 61 inch monitor.

External monitor added to iMac 27 2020 On the iMac 27 2020, do the external monitors have to be at least 4K to be recognized? I tried an older HD monitor and could not even get an "arrangement" tab. It would not detect the other display when I clicked on detect display. I am curious as to whether the issue is the HD monitor or the iMac or the cable I used, but obviously don't want to go buy a 4K monitor for troubleshooting purposes.

External Monitor on 2020 iMac Is there a minimum resolution a external monitor has to have in order to be connected to a 2020 27" iMac? Given the indication from the specs below, does this means any monitor with a resolution lower than 3840 x 2160 will not work? Thank you very much for your help.

Check out SwitchResX to see if it helps resolve your issue. It has been around for many years.
