I realise that this is an old camera but I would like to be able to get the RAW images into my Photos workflow without having to convert them in some other software and loose access to the RAW quality.
It seems that most other siblings and relatives of the DMC-L10 are already supported.

This is a user to user support community and like you, Apple does not share future plans with us either. The Apple product teams neither read nor participate here. Even if the camera is on this living Apple Digital Camera raw list, there is no assurance that it currently supports all expected camera image formats, or does so correctly. This is between Apple and Panasonic.
Just to add, Adobe products such as Photoshop and Elements support the L10 RAW format. It's also possible other software such as Affinity Photo does as well.

FWIW, you should read the info for the Adobe DNG Converter. It can not only convert RAW files to a more universal RAW format but embed the original RAW file.
Is support for Panasonic LUMIX DMC-L10 RAW to be expected?
