I keep getting unusual emails from an @me.com email address

First off, my specs,

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013) running MacOS High Sierra Version 10.13.6.

Now, my issue. Occasionally, I'll receive an email from some site I've never heard of about activating a new registration (everything from GoodReads in the past to just today, Fubar and SpDate). (I also received one about me activating a 3 month trial for Apple Music (which I'm pretty sure was a phishing email, which I caught. Has something like that been going around?)) Anyway, I guess I have 3 email suffixes, **** @mac.com/@icloud.com/@me.com. All of the weird emails are addressed to **** @me.com. I've gone into icloud preferences to see if I can disable/delete them, but they are greyed out/unable to be chosen. I've changed my apple ID password a number of times and still get these. What is the @me.com email suffix, why do I have it, is it actually linked to me or am I accidentally getting emails meant for someone else, what can I do to stop getting these emails?

Thanks for any help/advice,

Rehj
