I created an Automator script with the options "no input" and "any application". It should show up in the Services menu for any and all applications, but it doesn't. When I look for it in System Preferences > Keyboard > SDhortcuts > Services, it shows up under the "Text" section. No matter what I do, it always is stuck under "text" even when "no input" is chosen. Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?

How do I create a keyboard shortcut to an Automator application? (Ventura 13.1 on M1 iMac) I created an Automator application that "quits" all open apps. It works fine if I double click it. Now I'm trying to assign a keyboard shortcut to run it but any combination I choose won't work. Is this another bug in Ventura 13.1 ? I go to System Settings | Keyboard | Keyboard Shortcuts, and then added a "App Shortcut" using Command Q, or Command K (And several other combinations). I just get a bell sound when I choose the key combo but it doesn't invoke the application.

Services menu missing from contextual menu This was a thread in the Snow Leopard board.Still an issue for me in Sierra. The unchecking and rechecking items in System Preferences>Keyboard>Shortcuts didn't work for me BUT in Automator I did Convert to in the file menu d saved the workflow as a workflow in Services. Then that workflow did show up in the contextual menu - although the Services menu is still missing.
