My phone says iPhone disabled- connect to iTunes Store. How can I fix this?

BTW, this information appears twice (now 3 times) on the same page in the same thread you posted to. Sometimes you can get a question answered just by reading the messages you find with a search.

IF YOU HAVE FOLLOWED ALL OF THE INSTRUCTIONS HERE—>If you forgot the passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is disabled - Apple Support, followed them CAREFULLY, TO THE LETTER, and your phone doesn’t work then you need to replace the phone. But I’m willing to bet if you follow these instructions, that have been posted over 50 times in this thread, that it will fix your phone.

When my phone was disabled a month ago, I followed the Apple instructions for iPhone 8. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204306#restore. At first I chose Update and it did not restore my phone. The next day I chose Restore and then everything went so well. I about 15 minutes the phone worked and new software allowed me to choose my recent messages etc. I was one happy girl.
