updated itunes but it will not sync to my classic ipod -- 83 songs missing

Updated to the latest iTunes; however will not sync to my IPOD classic. 83 songs missing; keeps asking me to authorize computer which it is already authorized. What is going on?

This is what I found out by error. I couldn't download many of my paid shows on my iPod Classic. What I did was delete the shows (or entire season) and re-download them. Once I did that I as able to get them to download to my iPod Classic. I haven't tried this with my music, but it just might work. Check it out. Good luck to all of you who are having the same issues as me.🙂
