Found the answer!!!! This worked for me and I did not lose anything.
Depending on which iPhone you have, either press and hold the volume down and side button simultaneously until the screen goes completely black. If it does not reboot on its own, then power it on; it should continue booting up as normal. If you have an iPhone with a home button, press and hold the home button and sleep/wake button simultaneously. Follow same steps above.
DFU ultimately resolved my issue, takes about an hour so be patient. Once complete, you can restore from your iCloud backup.
It’s just the screen protector that’s cracked, it only appeared when the restored backup was completely loaded....but the phone is new
Something caused the screen protector to crack. If it was a drop, there could still be internal damage. What happened when you restored the phone as described in the link I posted?

I have the exact same problem....and my screen is NOT cracked and my phone hasn't been dropped! I called Apple and they had me do all this restore things.. still doing the same

iPhone X is stuck on swipe up to upgrade....when I swipe up to upgrade it will ask for my passcode and then it will stay on the apple logo...it repeats this all over...how do I fix it?
