Is there an Apple Watch model is that works directly with the Dexcom G5 or G6 without the need for an iPhone?

I just want to know if that is true or not.

All Apple watches require an iPhone to setup and use. They are not standalone devices.
You should however be able to download the Dexcom app to any Apple watch once its set up.

Dexcom is in a partnership with Apple, so I thought I would ask here. I would really like to ask someone with some real knowledge. I thought this was the forum for that.
I've already been trying other ways to get information. Sorry is I have been curt. I just didn't feel like getting the "well, actually" treatment.
