iMac G3 USB ports are damaged, what's a good fix?

(Little bit of backstory)

So a while back I had a iMac G3 (Indigo, not sure what year) that had software issues followed by a dead flyback (I think) after the software fix. The other day I managed to find another identical iMac (Some 2000 DV model) and swapped out the hard drive from my old machine to this one. Both units were refurbished, but the newly-acquired one was done very poorly. (The EMI cover was missing thus the internals were rather dirty, the hard drive was only held with 3 screws, not to mention the bottom housing was only held together with one screw where the VGA cover should have been but was also gone) I used the parts from my old iMac to replace the missing ones here and swapped out the hard drive and am intending to swap out other parts, (namely the rotted speakers) but I have one more issue.

So after some testing I noticed the plastic dins in both USB ports were broken off, with the top port's pins bent to

the point where you can't use it at all.

I wanted to know if this can have a simple fix or if it actually requires desoldering these from the logic board to replace them? (Which no one in my family knows how to do at all)

Thanks.
