iMac very slow

My iMac is 6-7 month old. I copied everything I had on my Macbook to it.

It is very slow and somethimes it freezes. I cannot even force quit programs and have to hit the power button to restart it.

Could anyone please have a look at my EtreCheck report and see if you can give me some advice.

Thanks

The ONLY other 'cleaner' most folk here might recommend is Malwarebytes.

Details here. There is no need to pay for trying it on an ad-hoc basis.

Please advise if Malware bytes finds anything untoward on your computer. A screenshot of your scan result may be of interest.

OK Thanks. Was not aware that could cause the problem. I'll try and see if that helps. Any suggestion to other apps that can do more or less the same as CleanMyMac?

Mac OS does not benefit by having any cleaning or antivirus apps installed. If simply kept up-to-date and otherwise left alone Mac OS will remain stable for most users for years. If you suspect you have downloaded and installed malware using Malwarebytes is okay, however I don't see any evidence that malware has been introduced on your system.

However I agree about CleanMyMac, located the developers instructions for uninstalling it and uninstall! Do not install any antivirus, cleaning or any third party "maintenance" utilities!
