I have a ipad mini, apple tv gen 3, and nimbus controller. I was wondering it the apple TV 4k can do more than I can and if so what. I was really wanting the 4k, but not sure if it is cost effective for what I already have and can do. Any thoughts? I want to play games, watch Netflix, maybe search the web, watch movies from my portable HD, and other things.

- You would be able to download games directly to your Apple TV, which play and look much better than using airplay and/or iPad mini. Some are specifically designed for the TVOS platform

-Beautiful screensavers
-Bluetooth support for not only the controller but a headset.

The newest apple tv 4k is a great device first of all. It is much faster than the older ones and supports 4k and hdr. If you are looking for something that you can play games on and watch beautiful movies then yes the Apple tv is a great investment. If you want to see specifications then this is a great page for you
Thank you for your reply and everything you said about the 4k is what I've read. What I am really wanting to know is whether or not it can do more than the ipad, apple tv 3rd gen, and a nimbus controller combined. It it can, I would like to know what that is so I can decide if it is a big enough feature to justify spending $179 or $199 to get the 4K.
