Possible supportme.com fraud?

I was googling Arlo technical support contact # when one showed up and I called it . They asked me to go to my computer and type supportme.com and I was given an access # to enter. I know!! I'm so stupid!! I did and they had access to my computer while I watched. They went onto the Arlo site as well as Amazon briefly. When it became apparent they couldn't help me they opened my notes and typed the real Arlo contact # and said to call them. My concern is that I briefly saw a file that said password pop up while they were navigating on my computer. I deleted the supportme download. I'm obviously worried about possible fraud. What should I do?

If you did not deliberately defeat System Integrity Protection for some other reason, nothing can be Installed without your Admin password. Since 10.11 ElCapitan, system directories are locked up tight.

Did you have any passwords stored in plain text in your Notes? If you think they may have stolen your passwords for different accounts, change those passwords. At Amazon, they may her been looking for one-click purchasing, to send themselves a present.

You may want to change your Apple-ID password and login password as a precaution.

You can scan your computer with etrecheck and or malwarebytes looking for anything else they may have left for you.

If you can't sleep at night worrying about possible problems, restore from a Trusted Backup from before they got on your computer.
