Amex Serve in Apple Wallet, but why do some transactions not work?

Depends on the card reader. Some say “EMV error.” Square’s reader declines the transacfion. At Whole Foods it goes through just fine. One of life’s mysteries?

Wallet has stopped working? Unable to send rail tickets to wallet. It was working two weeks ago and I have used it many times before. There are link buttons in the ticket email from the train company (Cross Country) but Safari opens and the blue progress bar hangs stationary near the beginning. The address is "applepass.service.ttlprod.local" I get the same result using either my iMac 27" Catalina or my iPhone6 and have restarted both and tried over several days. Amex not adding to Apple Wallet I cannot add my American Express card to Apple Pay. American Express says it's an Apple problem, and and Apple says it's an American Express problem. Amex have no record of a request to add the card so clearly it is an Apple issue. It is even more annoying by the fact that the card was previously added and only got removed when I reset my phone because Apple Music stopped working What to do next? I have followed all of the suggestions of previous threads of the same query.

Apple wallet didn't show most recent transaction After getting a new Amex card with a new number that was updated on Apple Wallet my most recent transaction did not produce a notification and does not appear as the latest transaction in Apple Wallet even though the transaction went through (I see it on the Amex website and in the Amex app and the merchant gave me a receipt). I restarted my iPhone but that had no effect.
