After getting a new Amex card with a new number that was updated on Apple Wallet my most recent transaction did not produce a notification and does not appear as the latest transaction in Apple Wallet even though the transaction went through (I see it on the Amex website and in the Amex app and the merchant gave me a receipt). I restarted my iPhone but that had no effect.

It is possible that AMEX is preventing access to that information.
Or give it a few days to see if they show up.
This stopped for a while but is now happening again. Usually an Apple Pay transaction sends a notification to my phone and appears as the latest transaction right away. Today the latest transaction, several hours ago, does not appear and produced no wallet notification even though my receipt and the Amex website shows that the transaction went through. Is this what I should now expect from Wallet?
