IPhone X Tap to wake isn’t working

i just recently started having a problem with my Tap to wake not working. I’ve had the phone since November and have had Tap to wake turned on. I’ve shut the phone off and turned it on. I’ve tried hitting the vol up and vol down and holding the lock button till it restarted and it still wont work. I’ve turned the tap to wake off and on while doing all these things. I’m currently using 11.4.1.

Tap to wake does not work when iPhone is plugged in however when you unplug it it usually works fine

Same with me, my iphone can't tap to wake. Is this error fixed by Apple?

Same problem. my display was replaced last night and now(tap to wake) will stop working. restart still wont work, but the (Raise to wake) is ok. my version is 12.2(16E227) pls fix is!
