Billing Information Issue (Phone Number length)

Hi All,

The length of my phone number is too long to be inputted to the Area Code and Primary Phone Field.

Area Code: 601

Phone Number: 13957XXXX (last digit couldn't fit)

Is this the correct input? cause my phone number couldnt fit in the Phone Number placeholder.

Hello realdeal279,

Thanks for that info and choosing the Apple Support Communities. If I understand correctly, you are unable to update your personal data in the iTunes Store, as it doesn't accept your phone number. To help with your situation, try updating your info from the Apple ID website with the steps below, and then contact Apple if you're still having this issue.

On the web

You can change to a different credit or debit card by signing in to your Apple ID account page. You might have to verify your payment method the first time you try to buy something on one of your Apple devices.

To go to the Apple ID account page, click this link: View Apple ID.

Sign in with your Apple ID. You might be asked to answer security questions.

In the Payment & Shipping section, click the Edit button. If you're using Family Sharing, and purchase sharing is turned on, only your family organizer can update your payment information.

Change your payment information.

Click Save.

You can also update the security on your account or other preferences from this page, but you can't remove a payment method from this page.
