Any way to use "Cast" with MBP Safari ?

Some times when I watch youtube videos I want to cast to my TV.

Is there any way to use cast with Safari ?

I know I can use it with Chrome browser.

MacBook Pro, macOS Sierra (10.12), Mid-2012, 13", 16gb ram, 500gb. SSD

Unable to AirPlay macOS Big Sur v11.6.2's Safari v15.2's streaming videos to an Apple TV 4K connected to a HDTV. I managed to get this ATV (A1842 & MQD22LL/A; 5th gen.) to connect this over year old Intel 13" MBP's. Its mirrored desktop mode works so I can see both screens. However, I can't get Safari's streaming Chinese videos to show up on HDTV via ATV 4K. All I see is a blank black screen with its spinning buffering(?) animation. The Chinese web site doesn't have an iOS app so I have to use the web browsers (Chrome doesn't even have an AirPlay option like in Safari). Am I missing something? All softwares have the (new/lat)est updates. I had to use the mirror desktop and tell web browser's embedded video player to go fullscreen. :( Thank you for reading and hopefully answering soon. :)

Watching iTunes Trailers on a Mac I have been having troubles watching movie trailers on "https://trailers.apple.com" for a few years with Safari on a number of different iMac's and versions of macOS. In order to get a movie trailer to load I have to hit 'reload' in Safari a number of times. This does NOT work for all trailers that have been posted to trailers.apple.com. There is no app to watch trailer for macOS (at this time). Either the installed version of Safari needs to be fixed. Or https://trailers.apple.com needs to be fixed. Please, when setting things up, think of the lowest common denominator. Not all "Apple" users can afford iPhone's, iPad's, or AppleTV's. Some only have a computer and internet.

Flash player plug-in I'm trying to watch TV on my Mac—specifically, Xfinity. The site prompts me to enable the Flash player, which I have installed and updated. However, the Help page gives me instructions that don't match what I see in Preferences. I should add that I'm using Safari Technology Preview instead of Safari. (Why? Because my bank's bill payer won't work with plain-jane Safari, but it works with Technology Preview. I don't know whether that makes any difference in this instance.) Xfinity refers me to Adobe's help site (enabling-flash-player-safari.html), which includes a screen shot of a Safari Preferences Websites page. The help page illustration shows a list of Plug-ins. The exact same page on my MacBook does not show any plug-ins at all. I can't enable Adobe Flash Player plug-in if I can't see it in Preferences. I read a post by Eric Root here in the Community, where he said that Safari, Chrome, and other browsers have dropped support for plug-ins. Okay ... maybe Xfinity didn't get the word? Where do we go from here?

As Eric says, you can only do this with Chrome: and you will either need a video Chromecast device or a TV with Chromecase built in (some Sony TVs have this - mine does and it works very simply).

Based on what I found on line, that feature is a built in component of Google's browser, not a separate add on that would work with Safari.
