No chapter markers in FCP X timeline, yet compressor/Share to DVD still see them

I created a project in FCP X (10.4.3) and added chapter markers like I used to do in FCP 6. When I created a DVD from the share menu it added a whole bunch more markers. Then upon reading on using Share for DVD creation, it automatically adds markers every 5 minutes.

Now, even though I have deleted all of the chapter markers that I added, they still show up if I export to Compressor and if I Share to DVD. They are invisible to me, but still there in the background.

Does anyone have a solution to this?
