Installing a profile on apple tv to join a wifi network

I am in student housing at my university. Tried to connect to the wifi network and apple tv says "the network you're attempting to join requires you to install a profile on your Apple TV. For more information, go to http://www.apple.com/support/appletv." I cannot seem to find guidance in Apple's website, so I am asking any generous techie to help me out please!

The issue may be that joining this network requires a username and a password on a special login page, which is different from the publicized requirements for Apple TV.

There is an app called Configurator, often used for deployment purposes, that has the ability to install “profiles” on Apple devices with preset settings. This may include login credentials for a specific network. Some users have loaded such a profile on Apple TV to adjust to these types of networks.
