I need the file to be in the container called: QT. When checking the file information (command+I) I can see File type: Quick-Time, is that the same as File container? And if so, is every file with the extension .mov, within the file container QT?
Otherwise, how do I change the container into QT?

Yes. Yes. QuicKTime is a container or framework.
Yes. It's the QuickTime framework, but that doesn't tell you anything at all about the file specifications. There must be over a hundred 100 codec variations that can still be used in QuickTime.
And if the file extension is .mov, it is always the container QT?
